Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem JÁK

As of 15th February 2002 the forum is running on the web page of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University, under the auspices of the university. It was developed during 2001 by informaticians, lawyers and linguists of the university. The Institute of Informatics and Distance Education of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences is responsible for the operation of the forum.

It is divided into a public (representation of free opinions) and a non-public (co-ordinated interpretation of the concepts) section. Its aim is to help to find the proper Hungarian word for the new legal concepts emerging during the translation of EU law (which is run by the Ministry of Justice). The debate is assisted by a lawyer (specialised in EU law), a linguist, an informatician and a co-ordinator.

The forum is divided into subject groups where the concepts, their synonyms, references, the EU law where the word occurs and the Hungarian interpretation can be found.
