The Vision of the Educational Portal
Any citizen, who has access to the Internet at home, at work, in the library, at school or on his mobile phone, can get information about any matters concerning school at any time of the day; in case of being authorized you can even interfere actively, e.g. you can update your or others data, you can draw attention to problems or interdependences, give instructions etc.
At the beginning, schools will create customized educational portals in order to provide more efficient communication and better educational position.
Obviously, it will affect school-life and management. After the initial difficulties school-life will be more approachable as students, parents, teachers etc. can be informed more easily about one another, themselves, school events, the ideas of the maintainer and educational authorities, maybe, also about other schools, either vertically or horizontally.
On the other hand, school data handling systems can integrate into the educational portal, so education management will be transformed, it will get smoother and the ways of information will be more efficient.
Surely, other new elements will appear, such as on-line forums of school-life, evaluations of teachers etc.
This way, comingup problems can emerge in time, in order to create better-balanced atmosphere at school, and so teachers, students and the management will be able to react faster and more efficiently.
On the long run, maintainers and also the state management admit, that by connecting and partly controlling the educational portals, they could satisfy their hunger for information more easily and could update their data without the distorting effects of the intermediate levels. They could perform their duties more easily concerning the flow of information about schools, subjects, types of education of different institutions, evaluations, ideas, billions spent on education. Finally, this way they could realize feedback, they could handle the coming-up problems directly or indirectly, according to their possibilities; the current educational system, which is really slow at reacting, could become more dynamic and more adaptable to the needs of society.
