Novelties of WindowsXP and OfficeXP

In the first part of the lecture we will speak about what Microsoft offers for the Academic community. We talk about products, offers, and the ways of knowledge transfer.

In the second part, we will talk about new software of Microsoft. The newest client side operating system and the newest office software suite were both conceived in the idea of eXPerience. In addition to the new adaptive user interface and the startling new outfit, there are several modifications under the hood too. The lecture will give an overview of the innovations in WindowsXP (speed, UI, compatibility etc.), the newly added features (remote access, multimedia extensions etc.), and new additions to OfficeXP, that enable knowledge workers to do more and better both individually and in teamwork.
