The experimental physics collaborations, with their international spread around the world, are based on use of computer and network technologies. The experiments are carried out in a few centres, where hundreds of researchers are involved in each.

The success of the collaboration depends on the frequency of information exchange to co-ordinate activities, to share data and computational and data handling resources across several countries. Beside on the presence of personals from different Laboratories at the experimental centres the Remote Participation has also a great significance. The Remote Participation includes remote data access, remote monitoring of experiments, remote preparation of experimental sessions, access to central computing services and remote participation in meetings.

A short overview of the tools to allow the remote participation of the KFKI RMKI researchers in the European fusion experiments of the Associate Laboratories of the European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA) will be presented.
