In the teaching of business informatics the curriculum has changed from paper-oriented to online-oriented because this field progresses dynamically. The online library is the Medium on Internet for Agrarinformatics in Hungary (MIAU: http://miau.gau.hu), where the studies of invited professionals are included in the curriculum, too. Orientation among the studies is supported by the compilation of links and server-side search.

Besides, the students have presented the demand to collect important keywords and abbreviations, and the online sources (MIAU and other). This task is now performed by the students with the contribution of professors and assistant lecturers. The special explanatory dictionary made this way will be accessible to everyone.

To publish this dictionary, the first step is to work up the standard structure of the database. The second step is to visualise and make it easy to use. For these tasks, the DHTML technology, the register of words and the context free search have been chosen.

In our lecture we will present the steps and result of the development.
