Multivendor catalogue system means cost effective solutions for the customers because of its many advantages. The markets that exist in its physical reality like the super- and hypermarkets, and its virtual counterparts can expect success because the products are in the same place and they can be easily compared due to the given attributes (price, size etc.). In the case of online markets there is an opportunity to distinguish between the customers, which could mean customer- dependent pricing and product availability.

One of the most important features of catalogue systems is the uploading, modifying and managing of product data of the different suppliers. For these problems an XML web services based data managing system can be a solution, which the presentation is all about.
