Az IRC hálózat használata távoktatásra

Though the IRC-NET is a system, which can be used for chatting on the Internet, it wasn’t made for distance learning-purposes. Creating program conditions for installation the channel, the system will suit the needs of education.

In April 1999 we have started the IRC channel, named #OKTATO. Students, system managers and official tutors, all taught enthusiastically. The themes we chose were different: it was not only themes meeting computing needs, but also concerning other subject, such as the history of aviation and football.
