Todays desktop systems are running Windows operating system. During normal use at the office, or at the education, these machines remain idle for the rest of their time. By using virtualization technologies, the free capacity of these machines can be used in clusters, or in grid systems.

The presentation introduces the applied architecture, and those Windows based components, which together allow these virtual machines to be managed uniformly.
