Open Access has become a significant global phenomenon and an integral part of scholarly communication in the last few years.

The aim of the present talk is to report the audience about the current situation of OA in Hungary, identify key points of action in order to build a national institutional repository infrastructure, and integrate Hungarian research output into the global scholarly information map.
