We present the results of the Grid Portal project of the NIIF Institute, which was carried out during the year 2010. In the project we made easy-to-use web interface for a few selected scientific application, which helps the researchers to easily configure the applications, split them in smaller jobs, send them into the GRID and collect the results. This makes it possible for other researchers who does not have deep knowledge of a specific application, or even for students to do calculation in the GRID with these applications. The framework was designed to be as general as possible to make it easy to add new applications later. It is built upon Ruby on Rails, which helps make enhancements faster in the future. It uses the client libraries of the ARC GRID middleware which makes it possible to send the jobs into ARC, gLite or UNICORE GRID computing nodes. The authentication of the users is federated, using Shibboleth. The system will be in production soon, and it will be able to do its computation on the whole GRID and supercomputing architecture of the NIIF Institute.
