The TF Digital Library was established with the assistance of the State Sport-Secretariat in 2008 with the objective to help the information gathering of sport professionals from the countryside. The goal was to digitalize the most up-to-date literature which they can utilize during their work and the offer free access to the database.
 The total length of the Faculty's scientific journal, Kalokagathia can be found in the database thus we guarantee its publishing almost at the same time as the printed version. The articles of Kalokagathias predecessor, the Scientific Bulletins of the Hungarian University of Sport Sciences are being published digitally continuously. We also just signed an agreement to publish the Hungarian Review of Sport Sciences through TF Digital Library. We digitalize the old and valuable books in the archive and they will only be available for reading in the database. The students' thesises at the Faculty are collected digitally since 2007 and are also available in the database.
 We wish to broaden our offering of digital documents by digitalizing sports journal which are either no longer published and/or are difficult to find. We plan to publish the archives of the Faulty's coursebooks, memo books and other documents.
We offer the documents' searchability by standardized metadata which we put together from records of the library's ALEPH system. Keyword-search of the total texts is also available. We also gather the records into tematic collections in order to enable a more user-friendly usage.
 We also utilize the database to search for citations.
