The website of the University Library of Pécs was integrated in coherent portal system. The technology of the portal is a common Drupal Platform, which was improved by e-Corvina Ltd and our own development.The website of the University Library of Pécs was integrated in coherent portal system. The technology of the portal is a common Drupal Platform, which was improved by e-Corvina Ltd and our own development.

Our first aim was to create such portal system which allow to create individual websites inside a central portal. These individual sites are able to use the services of the central portal, as the branches connect to the services of the central library and at the same time save their separateness. Technically the department libraries are able to keep their indipendent services and take an active part to the central library services.

On the other side our aim was a deep integration of our on-line services and the Corvina Library System to improve the library services through the portal system.  

The lecture will show the main steps of the Drupal based portal system; facilities, experiences of creating on-line services and gives an overview how to create an integrated drupal portal system.
