Such results of a successful application for the Social Renewal Operational Programme, TÁMOP-3.2.4-09/1-2010-0015 (aiming at the development of online services) will be presented with the help of which we provide electronic document supply services.

1.      We build a repository system to support instruction and research at the University, and to provide a tool for scientometric measuring. The system contains bibliographic data and full texts of works (degree theses, dissertations, study materials) prepared at the University.

2.      Connecting our catalog to the database of a web-based second hand bookshop (popular in Szeged) makes possible to locate such books in the hit list that are purchasable or can be reserved. In this way purchase and reservation can be executed with a direct step to the bookshop’s database.

3.      We developed such a tool that helps to handle and read the contents of digitized documents (basically stored in image format) online. Presently this “turning the pages” program serves to browse the museum part of our holdings online.

4.      Complying with the copyright law in force, our Digital Copy Request (DMI) system, based on the present stock of books and periodicals of the Library, will be available for additional user categories by introducing the DRM service of the Electronic Library module developed by e-Corvina.
