It’s
quite a stereotypy to discuss the topic how far the position of libraries had
changed nowadays not speaking about the more and more difficult economical
situation. But look at that from the
other side: this situation inspire innovation, creativity in the field of
library software production also. The
libraries have to recognize the need of accomodation to the new challenges and
accepting among others innovative software tools widely appreciated by the top
researcher and academic community. They
have to choose and apply such products which guide and motivate the usage of
creative research and education methodologies to secure the traditional
position of the library in that field, consequently raise the competitiveness of the persons and also
the attractivity and prestige of the
institution as well.
