Dspace document repository. Experiences, problems and solutions.

At the University Library of Pécs it became necessary to implement a university archive for storing and publishing documents created at the university. From some kind of document repository solution we chose Dspace written in Java instead of developing a new application. Over the features of the system we had unique requirements. During solve them we had a few problems because of we did not know enough the system and our additional requirements. We gave up some of our needs and programmed new features into Dspace. I managed to learn about capabilities and developing of Dspace more. I could make an appropriate development environment with a local webserver and an oracle database server running on virtual machine. Based on my new experiences Iwould like to share the problems and their soultions.
