The largest centrally managed WiFi network of the word, which works in PTE, serves the clinical areas on an increasingly bigger area besides the educational areas. The University of Pécs has used the eMedsolution medical system since 2007. This system was expanded with a new function in 2014. Nurses' and doctors' claimed electronic patient documentation beside the bed long time ago. The manageability of the nursing documentation has been the main need in the past years instead of the electronical temperature chart. This system has become available with suitable response time with the help of a new development. To the function beside the bed, an adequately classified wireless network is indispensable. The lecture presents the introductory steps from the planning of the development to the realisation of its daily use. The criteria of the selection of the mobile devices, the users’ welcome, the operation tasks and the experiences of its daily usage will be presented in.
