Research and development projects for the support of the development of the digital literacy

The development of digital literacy skills in the classroom is unavoidable in a knowledge-based society. Educatio Public Services Non-profit LLC. in the framework of Támop 3.1.1 II programme runs research and development projects that aim to support this goal. All projects include testing of methods in a classroom setting. The developed resources will be available for the whole K12 sector.

The Sulinet - developing digital literacy project focuses on the examination of young people’s digital literacy in the following two areas: digital content generating and online social learning. The outcome is a unified pedagogical concept and methodology.

The M-learning project’s purpose is the elaboration and dissemination of pedagogical opportunities that mobile technology provides in the teaching and learning processes.

The open softwares in education project examines how schools can switch to open source and free softwares and educational resources. A methodology of change management will be developed and will appear in the form of training materials, and provides practical help to schools.

The ICT and SEN project’s planned activities analize the inclusion opportunities of young people living with autism disorder. The research uses mobile applications, web page and measuring instruments for the analysis of the role of the m-learning in developing the skills of students living with autism disorder.

During the virtual online environments project the necessary tools for pilot testing in a virtual classroom will be developed, in this way the Sulinet, virtual school and professional developement center will ensure for everybody free, open source educational contents.
